Our Doctrine
Rooted in Scripture. Grounded in truth.
01
The Holy Scriptures
We believe in the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments, in their original writing, as fully inspired of God and accept them as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
02
One God in Three Persons
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — co-equal, co-eternal, and worthy of all worship and praise.
03
The Deity & Humanity of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ was begotten of the Father, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary — fully God and fully man, our only Lord and Saviour.
04
Sin, Salvation & Redemption
We believe that man sinned and incurred the penalty of death. Christ died as a substitutionary sacrifice and all who repent and receive Him by faith are born again and become children of God.
05
The Holy Spirit & Spiritual Gifts
We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, empowering believers for service. We affirm the Five-Fold Ministry gifts, the Nine gifts of the Holy Spirit, and the Fourteen motivational gifts.
06
Water Baptism & The Lord's Supper
We observe two ordinances appointed by Christ: Baptism by immersion — identifying with His death and resurrection; and the Lord's Supper — remembering His sacrifice until He comes.
07
Divine Healing & Sanctification
We believe divine healing is part of the Gospel. We affirm sanctification as a progressive work of grace from the new birth onward — for without holiness, no man shall see the Lord.
08
Resurrection & The Second Coming
We believe in the bodily resurrection of Christ, His ascension, and His present ministry as High Priest. We await His personal return and the resurrection of both the just and the unjust.
09
The True Church
We believe the true Church is all who have been redeemed by Christ and regenerated by the Spirit. The new birth and confession of Christ are essentials of membership. The Church remains open to further truth the Spirit illuminates.

CHURCH HISTORY PHOTO

2018 — The Beginning
Christ Family Church was formally constituted and adopted its Constitution on 1st May 2018 under the leadership of Rev. Chuwa Misheck. Founded on the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20), the church set its vision to extend the Kingdom of God to all Nations by the Holy Spirit.
2018–2020 — Establishing Roots
Based at Plot No. 181/55 Makeni, Lusaka, Christ Family Church established its four key ministries — A.R.M.Y (Youth), Iron Men (Men), Daughters of the King (Women), and Christ Kids (Children) — and began building a Spirit-filled congregation rooted in the Word of God.
2021 — Growing Impact
Christ Family Church expanded its outreach activities in line with its mandate to spread the Gospel through services, conferences, seminars, electronic media, and community service — including support for the underprivileged and missionary work across Zambia and the region.
2022 — Today & Beyond
Building on a firm foundation of faith, Christ Family Church continues to pursue its vision — extending the Kingdom of God to all Nations by the Holy Spirit. The Cathedral Construction project is a bold declaration of faith for generations to come, as the church grows, serves, and worships at Makeni, Lusaka.
